My biological mother gave birth to me at a very young age. She decided it was best that we went with a family who could give us everything we needed. I did not know I was adopted until I was going into the 8th grade. It was a whole fiasco, but I am so glad that I was able to reunite with my biological family and build bonds to this day.

I lost my adoptive mother in August 2020 while I was pregnant with my now 5-year-old. It was hard, but my biological mother showed up, and it meant everything to me. I was adopted into the same family as my half sister and grew up thinking my sister was my cousin. Who knew, right?
