I was relinquished as a baby, my birth mother mum was 15, Irish national not allowed to keep me. I am an adult adoptee and I write about my reunion with my birth family, how adoption has and continues to affect my life. It is a safe space for me and others to share their experiences, been seen, listened to and feelings about adoption being validated. I also share my poetry that has helped me through my adoption journey and hopefully will resonate with other adoptees. It has been a way for me to express my feelings about adoption in a way I have never been able to before.
