Back in Russia!

Hello everyone! Sorry about the delay with my updates. It always takes me a while to adjust to the Russian timezone. I am still struggling with it a little bit at the moment myself.

Several things have been happening in the background, for the project and also for me personally.

I arrived here in Moscow just last Friday. It was as usual , a very long flight. First flight was 20 hours followed by a six hour one after to Moscow. I had been reading some incredible stories from those adopted from Russia while I have been here. As we all know, there are many people adopted from Russia all over the world. I have come here to work on my projects, finish my documentary television show and connection more with Russia for myself. I have also been forcing myself to speak Russian and this has been incredible for me. Learning to speak a lot more Russian every day.

We have started research that has been continuing for our upcoming television documentary series. I can’t wait to share with you what we have been working on.

I am really sorry for being a little quiet. I have so much work I have been trying to work on in the background, while also trying to rest. It is always great to be here, but I didn’t know that I would be arriving here in Moscow understanding that it was the most snow that they have had since the 1970s. It was a lot!

Keep warm. I know that those back home in New Zealand will be laughing at my misfortune with the -24 that I had been dealing with. I don’t mind it at all. It is all part of this new journey.

Thank you!
